It is also important to note that children born to women with gestational diabetes are more likely to develop juvenile diabetes, which is as dangerous as any other form of diabetes.

In order to keep the signal high blood sugar under control, there are some people who require daily use of a glucose meter, in order to control their blood sugar levels throughout the day. If you suffer from blood sugar, you need to ensure you are working with a nutritionist and your doctor, so you will notice the changes you need to make in your diet to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Based on how your blood sugar levels are high, you may need medications and insulin, once you have adjusted your meal plans. Also, you may need to start a regular exercise program that will help in reducing sugar levels in the blood. Always try to eat foods that are rich in fiber, high in protein and low in sugar and fat. Also note that the signs of blood sugar may worsen if you skip a meal, you are stressed, or have some other type of disease.
