Blood pressure medications common.
High
blood pressure is usually treated by doctors prescribing anti hypertensive
drugs. Most of these drugs have some side effects, if any, significant. It is twice as likely to hit a person with diabetes than a person without diabetes. If left untreated, can lead to an increased risk of heart disease and stroke. It is also estimated to affect about two million American teens and children, and the Journal of the American Medical Association reports that many are undiagnosed. Hypertension is clearly a public health problem. See this Site for more information: Guide Blood Pressure Reduction ".
